HOW TO USE A LAPTOP WITHOUT A HARDDRIVE

Every now and then i always get someone come up-to me and having them tell me that their computer cannot boot up and first thing i tell them is "hope its not a harddrive failure".i have also had people bring to me laptops that have not been used fr more than a year and their computer is already giving a harddrive failure.i have used my samsung laptop for more than 2 years now without giving me any harddrive problems and i have always wondered what causes harddrive failure.3 weeks ago i dropped my harddrive and i don't know how bad the damage is but it cannot install an operating system,brings an error message saying harddrive will fail soon,been the toughest weeks of my life because i have tones of data on the hard and a lot of tasks i need to perform and can't afford a new one at the moment.

After thinking out of the box for a day i figured a way to use my computer without a harddrive,you don't need to be a computer geek or programmer to do this.but first i would love to give credit to all Linux based operating systems,the Linux operating system is not the most used operating systems but it offers some functions that you wont find on a windows operating system and one of these awesome function is that you can try the operating system without installing it on your computer and it is because of these function that you can run a Linux operating system on a computer without a harddrive,

what you will need

1. A computer running on windows
2. A flash drive that is 4gb or more
3. Any Linux based operating system

Make the operating system boot-able,click here if you don't know how

once you make the flash drive bootable plug it to the computer without a harddrive and set the flash to boot from usb,once you do that dont press any button the operating system will boot direct.

If you are using an operating system like Linux mint you will be able to watch movies with vlc player,type and edit documents with libre office and  browse the Internet without any problem,login passwords will be saved as long as the computer is on.

you can perform any task that a normal Linux operating system can do except whatever you save on the operating system you wont find after reboot.so what you need to do is make sure that you save whatever you were downloading or editing on your flash drive or any external memory.
