WHATSAPP APP TO DETERMINE PRICES OF SMARTPHONES IN 2017

Whatsapp app is the mostly used smartphone messaging app,its now been seven years since whatsapp was launched,its was enough time to make users fond of the application.

I don't know about your country but were i come from before  people new about whatsapp app the most used messaging app was facebook and BBM only for those with blackberry smartphones.

Wont let facebook app get all the credit but whatsapp app has changed the way we communicate as much as facebook has,its a shame that some people have never even heard about the application.

One of the features that has made whatsapp the most loved messaging app is the ability to use the app for  fast, simple, secure messaging and calling for free.The app does not use mobile talk-time or rather airtime to when making international or local calls,this has been very good for us with friends all over the world being able to communicate not only via texting but through voice call.

FALL OF PRICES OF WHATSAPP UNSUPPORTED SMARTPHONES

Since whatsapp announced that it will end support for the app on the following platforms

• BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10
• Nokia S40
• Nokia Symbian S60
• Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
• Windows Phone 7.1
• iPhone 3GS/iOS 6

Users of the above listed platforms are making sure by all means to get rid of the their phones or upgrade to higher versions of their operating system  which is only possible for those with android smartphones.Nokia phones,and blackberry phone users have to sell their phones in order to get a phone that supports whatsapp.

I dont know about your country but in our country its happening,whatsapp is so much of a big deal and a phone with whatsapp app is as good as nothing.

Right now all those used to whatsapp app wouldn't buy a phone without the app,whats does this mean for unsold Blackberry and Nokia $40  and symbian phones? prices of these phones have to drop or the sales will reduce.

The opposite is also true,since mobile retailers already have phones in stock that dont support whatspp and will be bringing in losses,they may also improvise and increase the prices of whatsapp supported smartphones to balance up the losses

This is what will happen or what is happening in the mobile tech. What are your comments on this
